Happy Father's Day to my husband, Jim, and all the father's at Glenrock Church of God.

Through The Fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Goes right along with my last post. Thankful for the 4th man walking in the fire. 🙌

Debbie and Glenrock Church gave me flowers on Mother's Day last Sunday 5-12-19. This is Friday night and I'm still enjoying them. They are a little droopy and beginning to shed, but I have truly enjoyed them. Thank you so much church family!! I put the roses from Glenrock with Debbie's. Debbie thought hers would only last a day. The Amarillos are still pretty and the roses are in full bloom. I enjoyed the visit with Debbie, Pat, Savannah and my niece, Gina. Thank you so much for the visit also. Love you all.

I came in yesterday from seeing the doctor. I was talking to Jim, when I noticed two blue bags sitting on one of our recliners. I said, "What is this?" Jim said, "Debbie brought them." Thank you Debbie!!! 😃To my surprise, we found all kinds of goodies....gloves, diabetic lotion,bananas, apples, oranges, Soft Soap, Juicy Juice, Sunny D, Magic Shine, note pads, socks, oatmeal cakes, cookies, crackers, pens, candy and crossword puzzles. Jim immediately said, "Hand me that Sunny D." He drank his and mine. Then we just had a little party. We ate cheese bites, Jim ate a Musketeer bar and I ate cookies. Um...Um... GOOD.!!!! A big THANK YOU to our church family at Glenrock Church of God. You are the best. Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year!!! 🥰Brenda 🥳Jim

Happy Easter! Jesus is Alive!

The Church We feel the nearness of God and love and fellowship for our brothers and sisters more in the church than any other place. When we as people, young and old, and young converts need to learn deeper things than teachers, parents and friends can teach us, we can always go to our shelter, the church, kneel down and talk it over with God. It shelters us from the storms of life and fills us to overflow with devotion as we gather to sing the songs of Zion. It fills us with pride and joy to say "My Church." My grandson used to say as we passed the church where we attended, "Dat my church, Ganmomma"! Of course we know it's just a building where we worship the true and living God. God's people are the true church. MY CHURCH: A room of quiet............a temple of peace. The home of faith.........where doubtings cease. A house of comfort.......where hope is given; A source of strength.....to make earth, heaven. A shrine of worship.......a place to pray- I found all this in my church today. Luke 19:46 Jesus says, "My house is the house of prayer. Matthew 21:13 My house shall be called the house of prayer. Mark 11:17 My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer. Isaiah 56:7 Mine house shall be a house of prayer for all people.

We are starting a study in the book of Revelation on Wednesday nights taught by Ken Gerhart. We will have handouts with scripture references, etc. for each attending. We also have a large scroll like map with order of events on display of the book to help visualize. We prayerfully enter into this study to know and become aware of Biblical prophecy. Casual and time for questions or discussion. 7:00 p.m. TONIGHT, Wednesday, Nov.15th, we'll start at 6:30 for "Yack and Snack" before class begins.

Homecoming at Glenrock Church of God Oct. 1 Start at 10;30 am . Singers will be One Heart . Lunch will be served following morning service . Everyone welcome .

Thoughts about Jesus

In a world full of uncertainties, craziness, sickness and pain, despair, hopelessness, sin, troubles and strife, there is one thing that is for sure and we can always count on. In uncertainties - "God" in his majestic ways is steadfast, sure, unshakeable. When there is craziness - he is not the author of confusion and hath not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. When there is sickness and pain - his stripes paid for our healing, he sent his word and healed our disease. When in despair - his arms are not shortened and he will never leave us nor forsake us. When it seems there is no hope - he delights in those that put their hope in his unfailing love. Most important of all, when "sin" sick - Jesus suffered and died that we could live and live abundantly and saves us from a devil's Hell so in return we can live "with" Him eternally and provide a way of escape. When there is troubles and strife - he tells us wisdom can be found in those who take advice, and also he is the lifter of our head and too he restores our soul. We must continue to learn of him. The love he has for us is unending and none can compare to it. He did not leave us for to lose our way but he is a strong and mighty tower than we can run in to and he sent us a comforter! Great is his faithfulness to us his children. Let us cling to the one who lifts us up in heavenly places. He never slumbers.📖
